Well, that's not an adequate title, but my computer is being more screwy than usual and I won't be uploading (no surprise there)or even working on the pictures I have on my computer. I will still be sketching pictures and I may even turn back to traditional art. If anyone can recommend an FREE art program that's like GIMP but doesn't take long to load and doesn't take up as much megabytes, than please, PLEASE tell me. I'd love to find it and try it out (p.s-I've tried painttoolSAI and Opencanvas: not impressed). I love GIMP but I need a new art program

Okay, I decided to nix the Zodiac art plan. I thought it was a cool idea and my watchers would jump at the chance for free art (not to brag on myself-a lot of you guys leap at the chance for free art from ANY artist-not necessarily; admit it) but I guess I was wrong. I only got three people in the past month? Right. I'm not saying you MUST PAY ATTENTION TO ME RAWR! I'm not that petty. What I do think is going on here with my watchers is that some of you (not all of you)only watched me to have me watch you back.

Now, before all of the innocents jump at my throat, I understand if you're a busy person and dA is not the focal point of your life. I'm not saying that. And to reiterate, I am not sobbing for attention. I'm just proposing an idea. Back to what I was typing. Some people (not accusing anyone) watch artists only for them to recieve a watch in turn. Now, if you live by that policy, that's fine, I'm not saying that you should stop and its wrong but to me it seems unfair. I think people should (I don't want to use that word but I cant think of a more accurate one) watch others if they like the person's art, profile, journals or what-have you- not because they are expected to watch their watchers. I honestly think something like that is selfish.

And I know this sounds hypocritical coming from me, who barely comments on deviations and journals. The journals, I cant explain. I mean I do read journals once in a while and I do comment once in a while. The reason I don't leave comments on deviations whether I fav them or not often because I don't want to leave the next "omg! So cute!" "Awesome! I love it!", etcetera, comment on that poor artist's drawing. I personally think a fav sums up all comments like that. Worthy comments in my mind are critiques, tips, and encouragement, or at least a detailed explanatory comment. I try to leave comments like that and if I can't then I don't leave a comment at all. Besides, I'm not on dA a lot and its hard to comment on 200+ deviations (though, that's my fault and no excuse). Favs speak volumes more than comments in my mind.

Not often that I rant but I needed to get that off of my chest for a while. And again, I'm not accusing all of my watchers of the natures of this journal/rant and some of you guys have been great-giving me tips and encouragement and faving my art and actually responding to my journals and I know I haven't done so at all (from what I remember), so sincerely:

Hi-ho, deviants and friends!

Any Full Metal Alchemist watchers or lovers (there is a difference) here? Over the past weekend (which was a four-day weekend for me :3) I watched all 51 episodes of FMA and I watched the movie yesterday. I like the series far better than the movie but the movie was also good <3 Alphonse was reunited with Ed IN DA FLESH!

Anywho, the end of the movie was great :3 A bit short for my tastes, though. The idea of science and alchemy is very interesting (I find nearly all of my subjects of school interesting-depending on the teacher)! Though the alchemic symbols used in FMA (I don't think the transmutation circles are real) aren't real. Yes, I googled it and, yes, I'm aware I have no social life and too much time on my hands. The busy life doesn't suite me well. I don't like to be pressured. Besides, social lives are overrated and I'm not cut out for one.

Not going down that road. Anytiwho...I Ed Elric. Yes, very n00bish of me, but I'll let you know when I actually give a shit (just like dA will let me know when they give a shit about anything I have to say). Al, too. <3 s them both. They both look a hell of a lot like Daddy Elric (only called him that when I couldn't pronounce his name and I'm not going to try to spell it), especially in the movie. Does anyone know why Hoenhime had the name "Of Light"? Anyone?
